Since shooting to fame five years ago, Zara has done a number of incredible things – including creating her own documentaries for the BBC and appearing on The X Factor: Celebrity.

Now the media personality is going to take on something completely different.

According to reports, the media personality will sign up to Strictly Come Dancing in just a number of days.

It is believed that Zara will “attract more younger people to watch the show” and it will also able her to “further her career” with the Beeb.

“Zara is the perfect signing for Strictly, not only is she beautiful and glamorous but she is hardworking and will take being on the show very seriously,” a source said.

They continued to MailOnline: “She’s absolutely loved the experience of documentary making and is over the moon to further her relationship with the BBC by signing up to Strictly.

“It is a dream come true for her and becoming the first former Love Island star to do so is the icing on the cake.”

This will make Zara the first Love Island star to ever compete in the dance competition to win the Glitterball trophy.

The star is in a relationship with Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson.

The pair have been together since 2019, but went through a rough patch when Zara cheated on Sam with Brahim Fouradi during her time on X Factor: Celebrity.

Strictly Come Dancing is notorious for the ‘Strictly curse’ and will “hope to defy” it after it has ended a number of relationships over the years.
