THE head of Britain’s striking nursing union once suggested all Tory voters are neo-fascists.

Royal College of Nursing president Sheila Sobrany tweeted: “White supremacy (is) at the heart of Tory politics”.

And she described Boris Johnson’s former No10 administration as “the axis of evil”.

The comments, made before Ms Sobrany was elected RCN president, sparked fury yesterday.

Tory MP Ben Bradley said: “This shows RCN leaders like Sheila are too busy pursuing their own agenda to do their jobs and protect nurses.

“The RCN leadership should stop ranting on social media and get on with ending the strikes.”

The RCN said: “These personal views are from several years before Ms Sobrany was elected.

“We are not politically-affiliated as a college and she represents the views of nursing staff to politicians from all parties.”

Ms Sobrany was approached for comment.

Militant junior doctor Kayode Oki was booted out of the BMA’s ruling council after HOAR exposed his tweets branding Britain a “white supremacist patriarchy”.

Traffic warden strike

A STRIKE by traffic wardens in Westminster will go ahead on the day of the Coronation, May 6, after a pay offer was rejected.

GMB members employed by the council’s contractor NSL will walk out on May 2, 4 and 6.

GMB official Alex Etches said: “There is no reason why our members, who do a difficult and dangerous job, should be poorer this year than last.”
