Jab efforts were ramped up as the fast-spreading Indian variant threatened to scupper plans for Covid unlocking next month.

The RVS said there were lots of steward shifts available across the country.

Chief executive Catherine Johnstone said: ā€œThere are still lots more people to be vaccinated over the next few months so please stick with us and keep checking your GoodSAM app for shift updates.
