Darren Kent's Acting Career

Darren Kent, born and raised in Essex, made his lone appearance in Game of Thrones in June 2014. In EastEnders, he played the character Scott, a builder who appeared in two episodes inspecting a location after a gas leak. However, Kent's appearance in Game of Thrones garnered more attention and marked a turning point in his career.

Kent's acting career began in 2004 at the Italia Conti Academy in Woking, where he played the uncredited role of Cole in Shameless. After his graduation in 2007, he took on various roles in both film and television. He appeared in the 20th Century Fox film Mirrors in 2008 and went on to star in other films such as Snow White and The Huntsman and various short features. In addition to his acting work, Kent also made his mark as a director in 2021 with the BBC series, The Break.
