SARAH Platt is expecting her first child with Adam Barlow but the couple are far from over the moon.
With the paternity of the baby uncertain, the Coronation Street solicitor is at his wit’s end as he suffers another panic attack.

Sarah Platt (played by Tina O’Brien) revealed to her husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) that she had cheated on him with Weatherfield criminal Damon Hay.
The Underworld factory employee initially met Damon in Debbie Webster’s hotel after feeling neglected by Adam, unaware of his true identity.
At the time, Damon had just gone into business with Adam after the solicitor was looking for new clients for his legal firm.
And despite wanting to stay away from him, she eventually gave in to their chemistry, to the detriment of her marriage with Damon.
The couple tried to work things out but were stopped in their tracks by a huge announcement – Sarah learned she was pregnant in recent scenes of the ITV soap.
Adam once dreamed of building a family with Sarah but due to her affair, he realised there could be a possibility that Damon is the father of the unborn baby.
Sarah underwent tests to figure out who the father of her baby was but the pressure is becoming overwhelming for Adam.
The solicitor became paranoid and incandescent with rage with Damon.
Sadly, his insecurities got the best of him following Sarah’s affair and he even tracked her down during a professional meeting with Owen.
But since he found she was pregnant, the paranoia turned into anxiety and he’s been suffering from crippling panic attacks.
Things take another massive turn next week in the cobbles as Adam is due to go through turmoil again.
When a fellow solicitor congratulates Adam on becoming a father, unaware of the situation, he suffers another major panic attack.Â
How will everyone around him react?
Will he get help for his anxiety?
To make matters worse, Damon left the cobbles to run away from Niall, who Adam set loose on him.
