PAUL Foreman was recently diagnosed with a life-shortening condition called motor neurone disease.

Next week, the Coronation Street builder is moved when his mother Bernie Winter helps plan a surprise for him and his partner Billy.

But his sister Gemma is getting married next week – will he have to come clean?

Celebrations are in order for the Winters next week on ITV as Gemma (played by Dolly-Rose Campbell) is finally tying the knot with Chesney brown (Sam Aston).

Yet all of them have been kept in the dark when it comes down to Paul Foreman’s health issues.

The builder played by Peter Ash slowly spiralled out of control as he was desperate to keep his health ordeal a secret.

But after weeks of running from the truth, Paul finally comes clean to his partner Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and the vicar joins Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) to support him.

However, as Gemma gets ready for her dream nuptials next week, Billy tries to convince a stubborn Paul to attend.

Paul is finally convinced when he hears from Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) that Gemma has been crying, which prompts him to apologise and all is forgiven.

The ceremony is well underway and emotions run high as Gemma and Chesney exchange vows.

In later scenes, Paul drags Gemma up for a duet, while Billy and Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) hit the dance floor – leaving Paul determined to grab happiness while he can.

Paul then reveals that he’s due to find out if he’s suitable for Tofersen, a miracle treatment he learned could cure him from his motor neurone disease.

Billy accompanies Paul to his appointment with the MND specialist later on, showing off a united front.

Paul packs some last minute bits for their holiday and is stunned when Billy pulls up in the church minibus to tell him that he’s borrowed it for their trip.

Soon enough, Bernie takes it upon herself to decorate the minibus with inflatable animals with the help of Gemma, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), Dee-Dee and Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges).

The group later wave Billy and Paul off on their caravan holiday – but will it go according to plan?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV.
