CORONATION Street fans have slammed the ITV soap for copying EastEnders with shocking new sex work plot.

The scarring has destroyed his confidence but HOAR previously revealed how Ryan turned to steroids in an attempt to get his confidence back.
He has been seen taking pictures of his body transformation and posting them to social media.
And now he is set to go a step further.
HOAR can exclusively reveal how hunky Ryan will launch an anonymous profile – hiding his face and scars – and quickly go from posting shirtless selfies to explicit videos in the hard-hitting plot.
A source said: “Ryan has had a tough year and he is soon going to be tempted into taking the easy money that comes with things like OnlyFans.
“But he will soon discover that not everything is as easy as it first appears.
“It’s a major storyline for Ryan and one that bosses know he is going to smash.”
However, fans have blasted Corrie for copying BBC soap EastEnders, as struggling mum Stacey Slater has resorted to secret camera work in order to pay her bills and put food on the table.
BBC viewers know that Stacey’s client Theo has become her stalker and will start to terrorise residents on the square as his obsession with Stacey continues to grow.
The soap teased: “It is clear that Theo is dangerous and will not hesitate to hurt anyone who gets in his way. There are a few characters who could be potential victims.”
Taking to a fan forum, one fan wrote: “The only issue with this is that EastEnders are literally running the same sort of storyline with Stacey Slater.
“Ok Freddie started it on EE selling feet pics which got Stacey into the “OnlyFans” thing, resulting in her being stalked by Theo.
“This Corrie version of it will only end up going one way and that’s Ryan too will find himself being stalked by a “fan”.
But some fans think Ryan’s new storyline will be compelling, as one said: “It will be interesting to see this storyline being told from a male perspective.
“Women are sometimes criticised and shamed for making money this way. I wonder what the male characters will say about Ryan?”
