CORONATION Street fans all have the same complaint over tonight’s episode – after a dramatic bomb plot.
The long-running ITV soap has finally revealed far right terrorist Griff’s plan with the big reveal of the bomb.
Max was seen getting injured as a bomb went off tonight
Fans were left unimpressed by the reaction
Griff took his gang, including teenager Max Turner, on a wilderness training retreat in tonight’s episode but things went very wrong.
First he tried to force Max to skin a rabbit so they could share it, but when the teen refused, Griff was furious.
And then when Max made the shocking discovery of a bomb in Griff’s boot, he was clearly shaken.
As the group drove off in separate cars, Spider tried to get Max to come with him – but he insisted on going with Griff.
But while they were driving they began to smell burning.
Meanwhile, in the other car Spider and the others had a minor disagreement over the lack of stereo in the car.
It meant they were distracted when the car in front blew up – but their reactions were a slight cause for concern.
Instead of looking shocked at the car explosion – they seemed like they’d just witnessed someone have a minor trip.
“What in the hell was that?” Spider said with almost no energy behind it, appearing unbothered by the noise.
When they arrived on the scene, Griff and his henchman were fine but Max was several meters away from the car laying flat on his back unconscious.
The whole scene had viewers complaining.
One wrote on Twitter: “So ‘it was like a bomb went off’. Well senior detective! Funny you should say that…”
A second said: “Spider: ‘It looks like a bomb went off’ – NOW you’re getting it Spider…”
Another added: “Max doesn’t look so bad considering there’s just been a big explosion about 3 feet away from him.”
