CORONATION Street fans have been left in shock after Summer Spellman made a life-changing decision about her pregnancy.
The teen recently found out she was pregnant with on-off boyfriend Aaron’s baby.

The baby news had slipped out during lunch at the Rovers
Paul Foreman realised she was expecting after his sister Gemma found a positive pregnancy test in the jacket she picked up – and he recognised it as Summer’s.
In tonight’s episode, Paul promised not to tell Billy her news, but things didn’t go according to plan during a lunch at the Rovers.
Summer and Aaron had joined Billy and couple Esther and Mike, but when Paul then showed up, he inadvertently lets the news slip, leaving the vicar shocked.
Summer felt overwhelmed and left the pub, only for Esther to find her later on and open up about her own desire to be a mother.
When her husband Mike joined her, the couple asked a stunned Summer if she would consider carrying the baby long term so they could then adopt it once it was born.
Summer said she would think about it, before telling Aaron all about it in the cafe.
The couple started to weigh up the pros and cons of having the baby themselves, versus the baby being adopted.
Summer also pointed out that carrying a baby to term could cause a whole host of issues relating to her diabetes and past experience with eating disorders, and so it might not be wise to go ahead with it at all.
Aaron sweetly said he could make a good dad, and while Summer agreed, she quickly added it was too soon for them.
Meanwhile at the flat, Billy and Paul filled Todd in on the surprising news, and as the trio discussed Summer’s predicament, she arrived back.
As they looked sheepish, she scolded them saying: “This has been one of the hardest decisions of my life…the hardest, and here you all are discussing it like you have all the answers.
“You have no clue what I am going through.”
Billy apologised while Paul added: “All we want is to help you make the right decision.”
She replied: “Yeah well don’t bother, because me and Aaron have already made up our minds.”
As the men said they would support her whatever her decision, Summer told them: “I know what I’m going to do…I’m having an abortion.”
As the credits rolled, Coronation Street viewers took to Twitter to discuss the scenes.
One wrote: “Hope Summer isn’t being to hasty!”
Another added: “Summer is going to have an abortion. She’s made the right decision. She feels it’s to soon and she’s taking her diabetes into consideration. That couple were also way to pushy.”
A third tweeted: “An abortion, Summer has finally decided.”
