Bethany wastes no time in rekindling romance with Daniel Osbourne
Coronation Street viewers were left stunned as Bethany Platt, portrayed by Lucy Fallon, made a steamy comeback to the popular ITV soap. In tonight's episode, Bethany wasted no time in jumping back into bed with her ex-lover, Daniel Osbourne.
Daniel, who was contemplating giving Daisy another chance at the pub, plucked up the courage to speak to Bethany.
"That fancy dress looks hideous," he joked. But after complimenting her on her work at the Rovers, Daniel couldn't resist mentioning Daisy's recent fling with Ryan.
Daisy replied, "Shame you're not wearing a rain mac because you could be wearing this in a minute." She went upstairs to change into her costume, while Daniel stormed off in frustration.
However, as Daniel turned the corner, he noticed a familiar face stepping out of a taxi. He couldn't believe his eyes and shouted across the street, "What are you doing here?"
Later, Daisy decided to apologize to Daniel and went to his flat, hoping for a midnight kiss. But when she knocked on the door, she was greeted by a naked woman in a towel – Bethany Platt.
Viewers took to social media to express their shock at Bethany's swift return to the cobbles. One wrote, "Blimey, Bethany dropped her knickers in record time." Another viewer commented, "Beth turns up on the street and 5 minutes later is turning down Daniel's sheets." And a third added, "Oh God, annoying Bethany is back! I was glad when she left!"
