VIEWERS of Coronation Street have been left convinced they have rumbled the identity of evil Stephen Reid’s next victim.
Fans of the ITV soap opera believe that the fate of one character is well and truly sealed after his latest horrifying move.

After accidentally overhearing their plans in the cafe, Shona made sure that the secret did not stay that way for much longer as she made Stephen’s wedding plans known on Platt Chat.
Tim had already been left furious about the impending nuptials after learning of the secret wedding and he and Stephen almost came to blows during a heated clash in the cafe.
Fearing that Stephen is only marrying Elaine for her savings, Tim expressed his concern to Sally.
Blissfully unaware that Tim is right, Elaine hurried the plans along and insisted they fly to Vegas that afternoon and elope.
Eventually, Sally appeared to have talked Tim around and he insisted on driving the ‘happy couple’ to the airport but it was all a ruse to get his mother into the car as he sped off, leaving Stephen behind.
Furious, Elaine demanded to be driven home but not before Tim had planted a seed of doubt in her mind.
Elaine confessed what Tim had said during a heart-to-heart with Stephen and suggested that they slowed the wedding plans down.
Clearly irked, Stephen tracked down Adam for some mystery business.
Returning back to Tim’s, Elaine was left down-hearted at Stephen’s quick getaway but he returned by telling the family of his plan to sign a pre-nup, in order to keep all funds separate.
He insisted that fighting over money should not stop the pair from getting married.
However, viewers were left unconvinced by Stephen’s ways and it turned out he appeared to have a much more sinister plan brewing.
Alone at Underworld, he phoned Elaine to tell her he would be home soon.
As the camera panned around, Stephen could be seen filling out a life insurance policy under the name, ‘Elaine Jones’.
This sparked fresh fear among fans that the nasty murderer had planned another grisly ending for his so-called wife as the only way to get his hands on her cash.
Reeling at his plan, one fan said: “One thinks Elaine is going to be very much brown bread soon come on tim stop your mam.”
Another added: “I guess it’s safe to say Bye Elaine you were as daft as they came.”
