MAX Turner is trying to get his life back on track after being groomed by Griff Reynolds into joining a far-right gang.
But as the racist thug’s court trial is fast approaching, police reach out to the lad tonight in Coronation Street.

Released from a shortened sentence at the STC, Max (played by Paddy Bever) made his way back to the cobbles in recent weeks.
While his father David Platt was eager to get him back home, Max was less than enthusiastic at the idea of facing Weatherfield residents after being involved with a far-right gang.
But when his former cellmate Gav asked him to track down his ex-girlfriend Bec, Max found love and a fresh start – only to find out “Bec” was in fact Gav’s sister Sabrina.
More recently in the ITV soap, Max’s jaw dropped when his own ex-girlfriend Lauren Bolton came back to Corrie on Wednesday.
Despite being firm in him wanting to move on from her with Sabrina, Max helped Lauren find a place to stay as she’d been sleeping in the rough.
Tonight, news of Griff reach Max as he tells Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock) that the CPS want him to make a statement for Griff’s trial.
Spider encourages him to do the right thing.
In later scenes, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) is by her stepson’s side when he meets with the CPS lawyer.
Max confirms he is willing to make a statement about Griff – but what will he say?
Many viewers of the Manchester-based drama are convinced Lauren may have an ulterior motive for returning to Weatherfield.
According to them, she could only be trying to get Max on her side to help her father – who was part of Griff’s gang – avoid trouble.
Could this really be the case?
