Paula Martin will return to Corrie to help out Yasmeen as fights to clear her name

However the soap star told Inside Soap she plans to be feature on both shows at the same time.

She revealed: “Well that’s the plan, to keep riding the wagon until the wheels fall off!

“Luckily, I can drive to Cardiff, where Casualty is filmed, and the Corrie studios in Manchester from my home in the Cotswolds.”

She commented on the advantage of playing two completely different characters, adding: “They’re very slick shows, and both roles are really different, so that makes it easy to dip in and out of each.”

Stirling Gallacher has featured on the Cobbles since 2018

She even joked at the possibility of going a step further and being on three different shows as Holby City is filmed in the same studio as Casualty, which would her the impressive moniker of ‘three-gigs Gallacher’.

The star’s latest character Ffion, dons a wig and Strling says this is because she loves dyeing her hair, but is unable to do so as she is allergic to the hair dye.

Before Corrie fans see Stirling do her best to help Yasmeen clear her name, she appeared in very first episode of Casualty on Sunday.

Ffion turned up to celebrate her and Jan’s wedding anniversary, but the medic was so caught up with her work that she didn’t even remember and tried to pretend that she hadn’t.

Upon joining the BBC drama, a thrilled Stirling commented: “I am entirely delighted to be joining the longest-running emergency medical drama television series in the world… what’s not to be thrilled about!

“The added bonus is of course the folk that work on this fantastic show, I could not have felt more personally welcomed or professionally supported in what is often a bit of a nerve-racking build-up to your first day’s filming.

“I look forward to many happy hours on Ffion Morgan’s pretend beat.”
