Investing in the Cobbles

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, known for his role as Tyrone Dobbs, is making a savvy financial move by entering the world of property. The 40-year-old actor has quietly established his own property firm, stepping away from the famous cobbles of Coronation Street.

A Familiar Abode

Halsall recently purchased a red brick three-bedroom terrace that bears a striking resemblance to the house his character lives in on Coronation Street. The property, located on a familiar street, was bought for £100,000 using a mortgage raised against Halsall's company, Rae Property Ltd – a loving tribute to his daughter Sienna-Rae.

Building His Own Coronation Street?

According to an ITV source, Halsall's property investments may not stop at one. If other homes on the street become available, he could potentially create his very own version of Coronation Street.

From Modest to Magnificent

While Halsall's new investment reflects his on-set home, it is a far cry from the stunning real-life residence he shares with his daughter and former co-star girlfriend, Tisha Merry. Halsall, along with his ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson who also appeared on the soap, built their dream home in an upmarket part of the city. This lavish property, now valued at an impressive £750k, boasts luxurious features such as a grand hallway, a lavish bathroom with a freestanding bath, a spacious kitchen, and a sprawling garden.

A Home for Creativity

Halsall's girlfriend Tisha, who runs her own YouTube channel, has found her own space in their home. The property includes a dedicated area where she can record her videos, as well as a walk-in wardrobe to house her extensive collection of clothes and makeup.

In a sentimental Instagram post in November 2018, Halsall expressed his love and gratitude for his dream home, which took nearly four years to build and complete.

Alan Halsall's iconic portrayal of Tyrone Dobbs has made him a prominent figure on the cobbles of Coronation Street. Now, with his entry into the world of property, he is diversifying his investments and securing his financial future.
