Stephanie Davis, best known for her role as Courtney Vance on Coronation Street, has excitedly informed fans to 'brace themselves' as she makes her return to the show.
Playing with Fire
After her character went on a cruise with her husband, Courtney Vance is set to make a splash back on the cobbles. However, it seems trouble may be brewing as she navigates an affair with Dev's son, Aadi Alahan. With her husband currently starting a business with Aadi, this storyline is bound to leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
Stephanie's Warning
Taking to Instagram, Stephanie warned her followers to stay tuned for what's to come. "Guys!!! There is so much coming up for Courtney! All September and October, so brace yourself and get ready. We have worked extremely hard on this and we know you will all enjoy it! So stay tuned! All my love S," she wrote.
A Bit of an Onion
Stephanie previously described Courtney as a complex character. "She’s got a lot of layers to her and I think she’s very sassy and got a lot of confidence but deep down there’s definitely loads of layers there. I can tell by how she is… She’s referenced her mum in some of the scenes, only little references, but you can tell she’s not had a good life and she’s met this Darren who’s got loads of money and has probably settled for that to have a good lifestyle but there’s no love there. I feel that Courtney in a nutshell is longing to be loved," Stephanie explained.
Affair and Repercussions
Talking about Courtney's affair with Aadi, Stephanie said, "It’s quite quick! She obviously attracted to him but I think a lot of it comes from her relationship with Darren. He’s cheated on her multiple times, it’s affected her self-worth and her confidence and I know she’s attracted to Aadi but I think a lot of it is to get one back on her husband and like I said, she wants someone to love her and he shows that to her and gives her that attention and affection."
A Setback for Stephanie
Stephanie recently suffered an ankle injury that required a trip to the hospital. Sharing a video with her followers, she expressed her concern over the severity of the injury. While she confirmed that it is not broken, she is currently on crutches and experiencing significant pain and swelling.
