CORONATION Street viewers are sickened after a masked gang of racist thugs attacked refugee Daryan tonight.
The thugs – who are led by Griff – have been slowly exposing who and what they are in recent months.
Daryan was cornered by thugs outside Speed Dhal
The thugs bullied him because of his nationality
After getting punched, Daryan managed to do a runner
But tonight they turned violent in harrowing scenes.
It began when Alya Nazir bravely confronted them in the pub over the vandalism at Speed Daal but was left shocked by their thinly-veiled racism.
And she raged about the injustice, Daryan thanked her for sticking up for him.
But as Daryan left for the evening, he walked out onto the street to be met with a group of masked men.
Dressed all in black the thugs chased him into Victoria Gardens.
“What do you want? I don’t have money,” Daryan told them as he began to panic.
The vile thugs replied: “What is he saying? Speak English mate. Can anyone translate?”
As Daryan tried to leave he was brutally punched in the face and had racist abuse shouted at him by the group.
“Go back to Pakistan mate, you don’t belong here,” said Griff.
Daryan tried to run but a masked Spider tripped him up and he fell onto the cobbles.
Picking himself up, he struggled to rush away while the racist thugs made monkey noises.
The disturbing scenes left viewers feeling sick.
One wrote: “I know it’s the point and I know it’s not real but that final scene with the racists and Daryan was horrific”
