The touching clip had fans in tears – and now EastEnders‘ director John Greening has revealed Isabella Brown, who plays Lexi, shot the footage by herself.
He said: “For all the videos shot for Lola’s funeral Isabella (who plays Lexi) shot them all herself on a cameraphone.
“No tricks involved. Well I did give her a few tips as to what we wanted!”
Following the revelation, fans flooded Twitter with praise for Isabella.
One said: “Isabella was amazing in last night’s episode – I think she made the episode and is a wonderful actor.”
A second wrote: “This makes it even better, she’s going far.”
“Wow what a grand job she did I’m in bits it was so beautiful,” said a third.

The fallout from Lola’s death will air during tonight’s visit to Walford from 7:30pm on BBC One.
