Former EastEnders star Danielle Harold made her mark on I'm A Celebrity as she faced the nerve-wracking Walk The Plank trial, now known as Pole Position. The actress showed her bravery as she tackled the revamped heights trial on top of the 100m high Focus Building in Surfers Paradise. With her plaited hair and a determined expression, Danielle was the first to take on the challenge.

Descend and Conquer

The trial required the celebrities to descend down a ladder before crawling along a cylindrical pole. Their goal was to drag a star along the pole and unfurl a flag to complete the challenge. Danielle, alongside the more composed Fred Sirieix, grimaced as they faced the daunting task. The actress, known for her role as Lola Pearce, had removed her long extensions and sported shorter hair plaited into two rows along the top of her head.

Heart-Stopping Moments

The trial provided heart-stopping moments for the celebrities. Danielle and her co-stars were seen peeking over the edge of the tower, their expressions filled with anticipation and fear. The tension was palpable as they shimmied along pipes protruding from the tower, determined to conquer the heights.

Sam Thompson's Worries

While Danielle tackled the trial with determination, Sam Thompson showed his worries as he struggled to overcome his fear of heights. The Made in Chelsea star sought comfort from his fellow celebrities and received pep talks from the staff. MasterChef food critic Grace Dent was seen cupping Sam's face, providing him with much-needed support.

Unveiling an Epic Season

This season of I'm A Celebrity promises to be bigger and more challenging than ever before. The show's executive producer, Laura Woolf, revealed that the launch episode featured never-before-seen twists and surprises. From the celebrities needing to eat more food in food trials to a disgusting new delicacy, the stakes have been raised. Pole Position trial took the show to new heights, quite literally, as it became the highest trial in Australian I'm A Celeb history.

As the season unfolds, viewers can expect more heart-stopping challenges and moments of triumph as the celebrities push themselves to their limits.
