EastEnders fans are expressing their dissatisfaction with a character named Nugget, whom they consider to be unnecessary to the show. They have also criticized the BBC for altering the character's history.

New Additions to the Panesar Family

The BBC soap recently introduced two new characters, Priya and her daughter Avani, who are members of the Panesar family.

These new characters were brought into the storyline when Nugget ran away from home and sought refuge with them. However, Nugget's sudden change in personality has upset some viewers of EastEnders, who have taken to social media to voice their complaints.

Fans Express Their Displeasure

A number of EastEnders fans have expressed their disappointment in the way Nugget's character has evolved. Some viewers believe that the show's writers have drastically altered Nugget's personality in recent months.

One fan tweeted, "@bbceastenders the same writers who had Nugget bully a deaf teacher, help post a dirty pic about a classmate, and tease a pregnant teen classmate is suddenly a sweet kid? They don't mention what a bad kid he actually is. THEY WROTE HIS HISTORY! I'm so lost."

Another viewer wrote, "Get in the bin Nugget! Useless character that nobody cares about. Even his own dad didn't care…"

However, there are still fans who enjoy Nugget's character. One fan expressed, "I do really like Nugget, he's an awesome character and addition to the show."

Predictions of a Possible Affair

Meanwhile, fans of the soap have speculated that Nugget's mother, Priya, may have an affair with Nish, the patriarch of the Panesar family.

Viewers have noticed lingering glances between the two characters, and in a recent episode, Nish was seen checking out Priya as she removed her jacket in the Queen Vic.

One fan tweeted, "I have a feeling Nish and Priya will get it on and that's how Suki will finally get with Eve freely!"

Another viewer added, "Did… did Nish just flirt with Priya? Please don't tell me those two are going to have an affair or something."

EastEnders airs on BBC One and can be streamed on BBC iPlayer.
