EASTENDERS star fans have gone wild for hunky actor Jonny Freeman – and he looks nothing like his onscreen character.
The actor – who plays Sonia Fowler’s love interest Reiss Colwell on the BBC One soap – wowed fans with his chiseled good looks in unearthed photos.

Jonny – who joined the cast of EastEnders as Dot Branning’s great-nephew – looks very different with a full head of hair and a neatly groomed beard.
His character managed to woo Sonia with his nervous bumbling approach.
But in real life, the actor leaves fans blushing with his dapper looks.
He has popped up in a string of other roles – looking nothing like his soap character Reiss.
Stunned fans raced to social media to compliment the star on his handsome looks.
One wrote: “Very handsome, should have kept him like that.”
Another posted: “OMG so different,” while a third echoed: “Omg he is so good looking, he looks so different in real life.”
Someone else said: “What a difference…shocker.”
Another commented: “That’s crazy, people definitely aren’t going to recognise him in the street are they!”
Jonny was best known for his roles in the BBC’s Silent Witness and Channel 4’s Top Boy.
He also starred in hospital drama Holby City in 2010, while other roles include appearances in Dalziel and Pascoe, Bloods and Frank London in M.I. High, between 2009 and 2014.
EastEnders fans were stunned when it was revealed that Reiss had been hiding a shocking secret.
Having been enjoying her time with Reiss, Sonia decided she was keen to step things up a notch as she asked Reiss if he would like to accompany her on a visit to Thailand.
Sonia was keen for Reiss to meet her daughter Bex who is currently based in the South East Asian country.
However the idea did not appear to settle well with an anxious-looking Reiss.
He came up with all manner of excuses as to why he couldn’t head out of Walford, listing everything from paying the taxes to playing the organ at the Good Friday service at the church.
Although his behaviour was questionable it was all soon explained to fans as they watched as the mystery man took a phone call.
Chatting down the line, it was revealed that Reiss had a secret wife that Sonia knows nothing about.
Despite the stunning revelation, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that it was highly unlikely that everything was as it seemed.
Many predicted that Reiss’ wife was terminally ill and likely receiving end-of-life care in either a hospital or hospice.
Writing online, one fan said: “I feel like maybe Reiss won’t be dodgy and his wife is in like a hospice… kind of like Jane and her husband when she was first introduced #eastenders.”
Another wrote: “I think Reiss’s wife may be terminally ill and she’s given him permission to move on with someone else cause of it. he could have been caring for her too. #Eastenders.”
As a third said: “My sweet Reiss has a secret wife, I think she’s in a care facility #EastEnders.”
