EASTENDERS fans are in shock after Lola Pearce made a desperate plea to grandfather Billy Mitchell.
The dying hairdresser – who is played by actress Danielle Harold in the BBC soap – disappeared from her own retirement party tonight after the effects of her brain tumour made it impossible for her to stay.

A desperate search was launched and then Billy found her but she was disorientated and confused.
“I don’t know, I wanted to. I couldn’t… I couldn’t…” she said as Billy tried to tell her it would be OK.
“It’s not OK, is it? I’m scared pops. I’m scared,” she replied before making a shocking plea to her grandfather.
“Please, I don’t want to die like this,” she said.
“Lexi, please, she can’t see me like this. You have to help me. I can’t go like this, not like this please.”
Billy told her: “I swear to you, I’m not going to let you go like this. I will do whatever it takes.”
Later with Lola back in the house, Jay and Billy asked her if she could remember anything but she could only mutter that she had a headache.
Unable to hold the painkillers, her arm wouldn’t work properly and Lola broke down but at that moment Lola returned.
Lola screamed at her to get out, determined that her daughter wouldn’t see her like this.
With Honey taking Lola away, Lola fell apart.
“Something’s really wrong Jay,” she said.
But fans are heartbroken for her and shocked that she wants Billy to help her end her own life.
One wrote: “Billy and Lola are breaking my heart,” while a second added: “This Billy & Lola scene is one of the most devastating things I’ve ever watched on this b****** show.”
A third said: “Lola’s losing her memory and her health declining it’s breaking my heart so much”.
Another added: “Such a difficult scene to watch.”
