Jack Branning was gifted the cufflinks during a poker game at Rock’s stag

A flash forward episode previously aired which showed Sharon Watts in her wedding dress and five other guests all dressed up.

They were standing over an unidentified dead body, with cufflinks laying on the corpse.

Now, back in the present day, the cufflinks made an appearance as they were passed around during a poker game at Rocky Cotton’s stag party.

With Rocky deciding they were too flashy for him, he gifted them to Jack Branning.

However, the scenes have now left fans worried the police detective is the victim of the Christmas murder.

One said: “So the cufflink merry-go-round starts now. They were Nish’s, and now Jack has them.”

A second wrote: Jack having the cufflinks … this is the worst game of pass the parcel ever im so scared.”

“Oh NOOOO!!! You can’t kill Jack @RealScottMaslen. He’s got the cufflinks,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: So jack has the cufflinks at the moment then, please give them to somebody else I beg.”

The cufflinks, which are originally owned by Nish, are what fans need to watch over the next few months.

Navin Chowdhry, who plays the character previously told The Mirror: “I think the main clue is to follow the cufflinks.

“There’s some stuff we filmed recently about the cufflinks so look out for that and follow the cufflinks.”

EastEnders airs on BBC One and iPlayer.

Fans have been left concerned as they speculated who would be next to receive the cufflinks
