EVER since he arrived in Emmerdale, fans have been curious about the mysterious Caleb Dingle.
Now it’s been revealed that he has a mysterious ex-wife, who fans are dying to know the identity of.

Who is Caleb Dingle in Emmerdale?
Caleb Dingle arrived in the Emmerdale village on Christmas Day 2022 and is played by actor William Ash.
He is the brother of Cain and Chas Dingle, and has been ruffling feathers in Dales since he arrived.
Speaking to HOAR after landing the role of Caleb, Will revealed how he wasn’t nervous about the role.
He told us: “I’ve met a lot of the actors who play those roles before.
“I knew Lisa Riley from Oldham Theatre Workshop, so it was less daunting having known those people than if I didn’t know anybody.
“Lucy Pargeter, too, I worked with her a long time ago as well. So the people I was working with I had a bit of a relationship with so I wasn’t as scared as probably I should have been.”
Who is Caleb’s mystery ex-wife in Emmerdale?
Despite numerous mentions about her, fans are yet to meet Caleb’s mysterious ex-wife.
He has revealed that he has children and had separated from his wife – but nothing has been said about her identity.
Viewers know Nicky Miligan is Caleb’s secret son, and the pair have teamed up to take down Kim Tate.
Emmerdale fans began to speculate that Caleb’s wife might be a past character, with Tina Dingle and Sadie King both tipped to be the mystery woman.
Actor Will has also teased her identity, and how the storyline could play out.
Speaking to The Mirror he said: “I think it would be interesting bringing in that character down the line because there’s obviously a wealth of history there, and Nicky sees this potential of them getting back together but he’s having none of it, so it would be nice.”
Who is Caleb’s mum in Emmerdale?
Caleb’s mum is Faith Dingle, who died in October 2022.
The ITV soap aired heartbreaking scenes where she individually spent time with each of her loved ones before she made the decision to end her own life following her cancer battle.
In 2023, it then came to light that his mother had a fling with the late Frank Tate, making him his father.
