Emma looked stunning in the promo shots for her new gig.
Her hair was swept up as she beamed in full costume for the family favourite show.
Emma will appear as the lead role in Bournemouth Pavilion’s production of Beauty and the Beast for five weeks during December and January.
Emma’s character is currently involved in one of the BBC One soap’s main plot lines.
Viewers have recently seen Honey attempt to help her ex husband Billy Mitchell, whom she has just reunited with, avoid being jailed for life for a historic murder he never committed.
But while Emma will be busy, HOAR understand she will not be taking a break from screens.
A show insider said: “EastEnders pulls forward with filming for Christmas to get ahead.
“There is also a two-week filming break, so even if Emma misses a few weeks of filming, it likely won’t have an impact on screen.”
It wouldn’t be the first time that the soap favourite has taken a break, however.
Back in early 2020, Emma announced she would be taking a six-week break from to soap to focus on the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
She also took a break in late 2018.
EastEnders fans rejoiced when the famous brunette returned to the show to shake things up.
