EASTENDERS’ Kellie Bright has admitted that she wet herself on Danny Dyer’s shoulder in an awkward filming blunder.
The 44-year-old actress plays Linda Carter in the BBC One soap, with Danny her onscreen husband Mick.
And the star opened up about a particularly awkward incident during filming in tonight’s episode of Secrets From The Square, which featured unseen moments from the past few weeks.
Appearing alongside Letitia Dean for the Landladies Special episode, Kellie told host Stacey Dooley: “There was a scene with Danny where I was drunk and he had to throw me over his shoulder.
“It was a scene where I was really screaming at all of the Carters and he had to throw me over his shoulder and throw me onto the bed.
“I got so irate that I wet myself doing the scene…A little bit, not massively.
“But he kept throwing me over his shoulder and I felt I should say to him, so I said: ‘Dan, listen, I’m really sorry but I wet myself a little bit’.
“And he said: ‘Oh for God’s sake!’”
Kellie and Danny joined the BBC One soap in 2013 and quickly became fan favourites on the show.
Just before EastEnders went off air earlier this year, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, fans saw their characters move out of the Queen Vic after selling it to Sharon and Ian in a bid to beat Linda’s alcohol addiction.
The soap will finally be returning to our screens on Monday 7 September with four 20-minute episodes a week.
While it was off air, BBC One aired a series of behind-the-scenes specials hosted by Stacey that gave fans a deeper insight into the soap – and the famous cast.
