LEGENDARY EastEnders actress Lucy Speed looked worlds away from Albert Square as she posed backstage at one of the show’s rival soaps.

The 46 year old actress made a name for herself as Natalie Evans in the BBC’s EastEnders between 1994 and 2004.

However, she has officially left Walford life behind for a role on rival radio soap The Archers.

Lucy began appearing in the radio production last year as Stella Pryor and has occasionally popped up for a series of episodes since.

Sharing a selfie to Instagram backstage at the Birmingham-based soap, she beamed down the lens as she captioned the post: “Always lovely to be with the Ambridge Family.”

Lucy’s fans went wild over the selfie as she was inundated with positive comments.

One fan wrote online: “That fantastic hair cut is wasted on radio!!”

Another added: “Fabulous! looking gorgeous.”

As a third penned: “Love your hair!”

Lucy has an impressive CV and has appeared in a number of huge TV shows including her 10 year stint in EastEnders.

Alongside her role as Natalie, Lucy also played the role of DS Stevie Moss on the ITV police drama The Bill between 2008 and 2010.

She also enjoyed roles in the acclaimed dramas Cradle to Grave on the BBC in 2015 as well as ITV’s Marcella and Unforgotten.
