LOLA Pearce left a void after succumbing to a terminal brain tumour earlier this month.
Unable to cope with her death, her grandfather Billy Mitchell lashes out tonight in EastEnders, right ahead of her funeral.

But much like Jay, he struggles to cope
Lola Pearce drew her last breath on May 31, 2023, surrounded by her husband Jay Brown and her daughter Lexi.
Since then, her loved ones have been trying to get their lives back to normal without her but the grief if still weighing down on them.
Funeral preparations are underway as Walford residents will be celebrating the hairstylist’s life the way she would have wanted them to.
But her grandfather Billy (portrayed by Perry Fenwick) is still reeling from the shock of her tragic death as he tries to busy himself with final preparations for her funeral.
After a tense meeting with the Reverend, Billy lashes out at Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) and Jay (Jamie Borthwick) as he shares his disgust for how the Mitchell family treated Lola over the years before storming out.
Billy isn’t the only one to find life in Albert Square bleak without Lola by his side.
Jay struggles to deal with his own grief and soon heads to The Vic but he’s quickly sent home by a concerned Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) to sober up.
Later, Honey finds a dejected Billy alone outside the funeral parlour and encourages him to say a final goodbye to Lola.

Billy has already been seen struggling prior to Lola’s death when he got involved in an altercation with Nish Panesar.
The market trader was arrested when he accidentally punched Jack Branning as he was slowly running out of time with Lola.
