But it all goes wrong for Lola

After accepting she was no longer able to work due to her ever-deteriorating health, Lola Pearce (portrayed by Danielle Harold) was taken to hospital when her speech and mobility became impaired.

Fans were left in tears when Lola rushed out of her own leaving do at Fox & Hare and was found confused outside the Boxing Den by her grandfather Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).

The beloved hairstylist was then hit with devastating news about her prognosis as she was told she only had a handful of weeks left to live.

Tonight on BBC One, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) decides to make the most of her time left as the reality of her prognosis continues to set in.

Coming up, Jay breaks Lola out of the hospital to enjoy a fun-filled day at the seaside.

While there, she spots a ruby necklace which she hopes to buy for her daughter Lexi as a 16th birthday present – but can she afford it?

In later scenes, the lovebirds will enjoy their outing together with a heart-to-heart conversation.

But it all turns awry when the police approach them when a shopkeeper realises something has been stolen.

Could Lola or Jay be to blame?

Stars of the London-based program were recently snapped filming Lola’s funeral scenes in London as the character’s death is fast approaching.

Several actors in the likes of Jamie Borthwick, Perry Fenwick, Max Bowden, Steve McFadden, Diane Parish, Natalie Cassidy, Shona McGarty, amongst many others, were photographed outside a church in colourful attire, hinting that Lola’s funeral will be in her image.

Viewers are waiting at the edge of their seats for Lola’s death scenes to be aired, heartbroken to know actress Danielle Harold will bow out after more than a decade in Albert Square.

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
