Dean Gaffney, known for his role in EastEnders, suffered a broken collar-bone after being struck by Chelsea star Wesley Fofana's £70 million Lamborghini.
Accident Details
Gaffney was "catapulted" into the air when he was hit by Fofana's car during a night out. He was treated in the hospital for his injuries, including a broken collar-bone.
Investigation
Fofana, who earns £230,000 a week, was breathalysed at the scene and passed the test. He was not found to be at fault for the accident and was allowed to leave.
Unaware of Gaffney's Identity
Gaffney only found out later that Fofana was the driver. Sources say the player was "unaware" of the actor's identity at the time of the accident.
Lucky to be Alive
Gaffney considered himself lucky to survive the accident and was grateful for the emergency services' help. He joked about a rival club's player injuring a well-known fan of their neighbors.
No Blame Attached
The accident was deemed to be nobody's fault, and there was no blame attached to either party. Gaffney has never spoken publicly about the incident.
A spokesperson for Gaffney declined to comment, and representatives for Chelsea FC and Fofana did not provide any statements.
