EASTENDERS star Luisa Bradshaw-White has fuelled speculation that Tina Carter is alive with a cryptic Instagram post about heading to work.

The 46-year-old actress sent fans into a tizzy earlier this evening as theories that her Walford character is about to “return from the dead” reach fever pitch.

Luisa shared a cryptic Instagram post about ‘work’ this evening

The star announced that she was leaving the BBC One soap last year, and Tina’s final scenes showed her lifeless body being bundled into villain Gray Atkins’ car boot in December.

Today, Luisa posed for a fresh-faced selfie in the back of a car, adding the caption: “Got dressed. Put makeup on. Went to work. Yippee!!! ”.

Her followers were quick to read between the lines, and flocked to the comment section to ask if this was confirmation that Tina isn’t really dead.

One wrote: “EastEnders work???”

A third commented: “Went to work?! Is Tina dead or not?! I need to know!!!! Or have u just got a new job already?”

One more asked: “Went to work ? as in Tina’s alive??? ?

Could Tina return and expose evil Gray?

Luisa remained tight-lipped amid the growing speculation, but has not announced details of any new acting roles that she has lined up – although she did tease last year that she “can’t wait to reveal new projects for 2021”.

EastEnders fans have become convinced that Tina isn’t really dead, and that she will be returning to Albert Square to expose evil Gray, who previously killed his wife Chantelle.

Recent episodes have seen her desperate family team up with the Mitchells to find the quirky character, who they believe ran away after she was framed for attacking Ian Beale.

Luisa has remained tight-lipped about the rumours

Although Tina appeared to be dead in her final scenes on the soap, her and Gray’s altercation was not shown – nor what happened after he drove her body away from Walford.

Fans have theorised everything from Tina being held hostage to her faking her death and running away – and earlier today Annette Badland hinted that she is making a shock return to the show.

Annette plays Tina’s villainous Aunt Babe, and her recent comments have suggested that the two women have teamed up to take Gray down once and for all.
