Michelle Collins, known for her role in EastEnders, is facing the risk of being stranded in Malaga after losing her passport. The 61-year-old sought help at the local police station before her scheduled flight back home tonight.
Plea for Help
Michelle took to social media, specifically X, to reach out to easyJet for assistance. She tweeted, "Please easyJet can you help me? I have lost my passport at Malaga airport. The police (I have been there) say it is up to the airline to let me fly home. My flight is at 8.30pm tonight, and I am heading to the airport after leaving the police station. Thank you, Michele x."
Frustration Mounts
Half an hour later, Michelle expressed her disappointment, tweeting, "Nobody is very helpful @easyJet. This is awful."
Fans Rally Around
Fans of the actress quickly came to her support. One fan said, "That's terrible. I hope something gets sorted out soon." Another fan pointed out, "Surely after all these years in show business, people would recognize you straight away."
A Year of Surprises
Michelle recently made a comeback to EastEnders, as her character Cindy Beale faked her own death in 1998. She spent New Year's Eve on the beach, sending a Happy New Year message to her fans. "Happy new year to all of you who follow me on here," wrote Michelle. "What a year it's been, Cindy went back to the square. Who would've thought, eh? There's so much conflict in the world right now. Let's hope 2024 is a better one for everyone."
