THE soaps schedules are in chaos after another shake-up for Emmerdale and Coronation Street this week.

Beginning tonight the ITV soaps will move again – just months after settling into their new timeslots.

This week’s Corrie will see a dramatic car crash as the soap faces EastEnders in ratings battle

And there will be fewer episodes this week.

Emmerdale will return to its 7pm slot each weeknight for this week only.

Meanwhile Coronation Street will abandon its hour-long episodes, to return to 30 minute editions.

It will air episodes each night at 7.30pm all this week.

The move will allow Britain’s Got Talent’s live semi-finals to air at 8pm in two hour slots.

However the move does mean that Coronation Street will clash with EastEnders on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Emmerdale has regularly clashed with EastEnders on weeknights since the BBC put the show in a regular slot.

This week on Emmerdale Faith Dingle’s secret cancer battle will come to a head when her daughter Chas sees holes in her lies and makes a big leap.

She accuses Moira Dingle of cheating on Cain with his own son Nate again.

Meanwhile Noah Tate faces up to the villagers knowing he has plead guilty to stalking and harassing ex Chloe Harris.

And over on Coronation Street there’s a dramatic car crash that leaves Toyah and Imran fighting for their lives.

Abi Webster snatches her son Alfie in an effort to flee to Costa Rica for a new life after Imran’s lies pushed her to breaking point.

The disaster will begin with a flash-forward as the truth is revealed each night.
