EMMERDALE fans were disgusted with Chas Dingle after she told Liv Flaherty she was dead to her – but viewers have quickly changed their mind after a major twist.
The Woolpack landlady – who is played by actress Lucy Pargeter in the ITV soap – blames Liv for son Aaron leaving the village.
Liv is currently in prison charged with Ben Tucker’s murder – though viewers know Meena Jutla is responsible.
Despite cutting ties with Liv, Chas has a sudden change of heart and decided to visit the trouble girl in prison.
Viewers were thrilled to see Chas come to her senses.
One wrote: “About bloody time. Chas finally sees the light and agrees with Vinny and Liv is innocent.”
Another posted: “I’m glad Chas has given Liv ANOTHER chance! She’s has to believe that she’s innocent. #Emmerdale”
“Finally Chas is seeing sense and is now on Liv’s side,” a third shared.
Shocked viewers were appalled last week when Chas cut Liv out of the Dingle family.
Chas laid it on thick and told Liv that she was on her own. “You and your lies have torn this family apart,” she raged.
“You have broken us. Everyone’s given up on you Liv, not just Aaron. You never were a Dingle though.
“And now Aaron’s gone – what’s left to bond us? Absolutely nothing. So don’t phone us, don’t contact us because I’m not interested.
“You lady are dead to me.”
Chas told the Dingles: “Liv murdered Ben. As far as we’re concerned – Liv does not exist.”
Vinnie tried to stick up for Liv – but the entire family voted to abandon her to her fate.
But with Chas rubbing it in, viewers were disgusted with her.
One wrote: “Chas was so harsh on Liv.”
A second said: “Both Chas’s parents were/are total Alcoholic’s & yet she’s still judging poor Liv really?”
Another added: “I love Cain and Chas but I hope Liv disowns all the Dingle family when they discover the truth.”
