EMMERDALE fans have been left convinced that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to Caleb Milligan’s identity.
The mystery surrounding him has continued to unravel over the last few months but many viewers are still uncertain as to if Caleb, played by actor Will Ash, is really who he says he is.

Fans believe it could be Zak Dingle instead
He is believed to be the secret son of Frank Tate and Faith Dingle and arrived in the Dales seeking out his half-siblings Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).
However, viewers know that he is really aiming to bankrupt Kim Tate (Claire King) in a bid to take back what ‘is his’.
Caleb is furious that Kim left his father Frank to die and insists that he is the rightful heir to Home Farm and should be the millionaire instead of Kim.
He has even dragged his secret son Nicky (Lewis Cope) along for the ride without allowing him to get to know his real Dingle family.
Nicky has been spying on Kim as well as striking up a ‘fake’ romance with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) which Caleb has insisted he sees through until marriage despite discovering he is gay and in a relationship with a man named Ally.
But in shock DNA test, fans think Caleb is not the son of Frank and is actually a full Dingle.
Some viewers have theorised that Caleb may actually be the son of Zak and Faith, making him Cain’s full sibling.
One fan said: “Remember when Zak made Mandy and Butch get married so he could keep hold of the Dingle c**shack, are we sure Caleb isn’t really Zak’s son? He just reeks of the same effed-up entitlement #emmerdale.” [sic]
Another added: “Could Caleb be Zak’s son like Cain.”
A third penned: “They will make up any story on, just like Zak turning out to be Cain Dad and not Shadrach.”
However, one fan claimed that it will be Nicky’s secret lover Ally that will bring the pair down.
Speculating Ally is working with Kim, they wrote: “My Big twist ( hear me out ) Ally is working for Kim and is stringing Nicky and Caleb along? Kim isn’t as stupid as she makes out. Remember that scene outside Frank’s grave.”
