EMMERDALE fans are in shock after Claudette Anderson dropped a huge bombshell on her son Charles.
The pensioner – who is played by actress Flo Wilson in the ITV soap – has been making herself comfortable in son Charles’ cottage since last week.
Claudette wants Manpreet out of Charles’ life
Fans are sure Claudette is hiding something major
Viewers have watched as she’s tried to drive a wedge between Charles and partner Manpreet ever since arriving.
But after complaining about her bad back and failing to stick to her own story, Manpreet became suspicious of Claudette’s story.
And when she found her dancing around the kitchen with the biscuit tin, Manpreet told Charles all about Claudette’s lies.
At first Claudette tried to front it out and use it to get rid of Manpreet from Charles’ life – but eventually she cracked.
“I’ve got nowhere to go,” shouted Claudette, finally exposed for her lies.
“I’m homeless. I lied about my back so I could stay longer because I lost my house. I thought it was the only way Charles would let me stay with him.”
“How?” asked a shell-shocked Charles.
“You’ve been in that home for over 40 years. When did this happen? Why didn’t you tell us that things had gotten so bad? Why didn’t you let us help you?
“No more questions please,” Claudette said as she began sobbing on the sofa.
And as Charles assured her she was going nowhere, fans are sure she’s hiding something major.
One wrote: “Claudette’s lost her home, yet she’s acting nasty to manpreet. That’s not a way of living at Charles’ house.”
