Emmerdale boss Jane teased all on the show
It hasn’t just been her love life she’s struggled with as she has dealt with a number of family problems including her business empire and battle with the now deceased Al Chapman, coping with the loss of her mother Lisa and her mental health struggles.
But Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson has confirmed that finally the future looks bright for the young Dingle and has teased she will find herself in an epic romance to kick off this summer in the Dales.
Speaking to the Loose Women panel on yesterday’s show, Judi Love read out a fan question to the executive producer: “They ask ‘will Belle find love soon?’ And suggest she’d be a good match for Jacob [Gallagher].”
Jane excitedly replied: “She’s not gonna find love with Jacob but she is gonna find love!
“We’ve got a bit of summer loving for Belle, so you need to see what happens.
“But yes, Belle is finally going to fall in love with someone!”
Jane went onto add: “It could even be the most perfect relationship we’ve ever seen!”
Belle’s latest romance with Ellis Chapman crumbled as a result of her straying with hunky vet Jamie Tate.
It left Ellis crushed and he was quick to make his move to quit the village to escape Belle for good.
Eden Taylor-Draper has played the role of Belle since 2005 when she was just eight years old and has remained with the soap ever since.
Within her first year, she had already picked up her first gong for Spectacular Scene at the 2006 British Soap Awards.
