EMMERDALE fans are in shock after Laurel Thomas was kidnapped tonight.
The restaurant manager – who is played by actress Charlotte Bellamy in the ITV soap – has been locked up at Colin’s house with all the villagers convinced she is on her way to India.

Colin has Laurel’s phone as his plan is revealed
Laurel originally was going straight to the airport but hit a complication after Arthur revealed Marshall had called about his passport, he asked his mum to go and pick it up from Colin’s house.
When she got there the house was a complete state.
She tried to call him but could only hear the phone ring and with the door open decided to walk in.
However as she called out, Colin suddenly appeared at the door, slamming it shut and demanding to know: “What are you doing in my house?”
Panicked Laurel tried to reason with Colin and let him rant about everything his bigotry had cost him.
He became increasingly obsessed with getting Laurel to fix everything in his life – all the while blaming her and taking no responsibility for himself.
Laurel made her excuses and went to collect Marshall’s passport so she could leave and go to India to support Jai.
However as she searched for it in his bedroom, Laurel was horrified to find Colin stood at the door and he was raging about losing his son Marshall.
“I don’t blame myself, I blame you,” Colin said.
“Everything was alright before you and your perverted little son came into our lives. You need to undo the damage you’ve done to this family.”
“Move aside or I’ll call the police,” replied Laurel but she soon realised that Colin had her phone.
But he told her: “You were so instrumental in taking Marshall away from me that you’re not going anywhere until you bring him back.”
He then locked the door and left Laurel screaming for help leaving fans horrified.
One wrote: “Hope laurel is found and Collin here some professional help he is off his rocker.”
A second said: “SMASH THE DAMN WINDOW LAUREL!!”
Another added: “Poor Laurel, Colin needs help – he is unhinged.”
