Emotions ran high during last night’s trip to the Dales as Liam Cavanagh (played by Jonny McPherson) won Murder Most Murky’s New Crime Writer of the Year Award under the pen name of Anna Le Monde.
One thing led to another and the village doctor kissed Wendy, who had helped him with one of his stories, and the passion escalated.
With the knowledge she’s been unfaithful to her partner Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) still fresh in her mind, Wendy finds it hard to get on while the guilt of cheating weighs heavy on her.
Could she come clean about the previous evening’s events?
Or will she keep Bob in the dark?
The B&B owner isn’t as innocent as Wendy believes because, while she was exploring a romantic connection with Liam, Bob was sharing a moment of his own with business partner Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles).
Both characters have been bickering for weeks as business at the B&B has been far from thriving.
But a wine tasting evening got out of hand when Bernice tried to kiss and Bob and he rejected her.
Despite this, Bob struggles with his own budding feelings for the fiery redhead tonight.
Could he tell Wendy what happened between them?
Bernice and Bob have already been accused by Wendy of sneaking around together behind her back, although that was proven untrue following the B&B’s grand re-opening.
At the time, Wendy has misunderstood a conversation between the business partners who mistakenly thought their harp player Tim had died.
The blunder was eventually cleared up but could Bob embark on an affair of his own with a single Bernice as his feelings for her grow?
