ONE couple is headed down the aisle this week but their wedding day will be turning into a nightmare.

As one cheater could be exposed in Emmerdale, it could be a matter of time until another is sent packing by his other half.

Mackenzie and Charity are getting ready for their wedding

But could Mackenzie reveal he’s the father of Chloe’s baby?

1. Mackenzie comes clean

Will Charity Dingle (portrayed by Emma Atkins) really tie the knot with Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb)?

Chaos will take over the village in scenes airing this week on ITV as the hunk continues to hide the fact he’s the father of Chloe Harris’ baby.

But with the big day fast approaching and Chloe (Jessie Elland) going into labour, Mack could be pushed into a confession as he vanishes from his own wedding ceremony.

It all begins when Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) shows Charity a slideshow of pictures of Mackenzie and the Woolpack landlady has a lightbulb moment as she spots a reference to the A-Team.

However, she bickers with Moira and pushes her into a haystack.

Moira, who was chosen to be her brother’s best man, starts scrambling around for the rings but Charity’s paranoia gets the best of her as she accuses the farmer of deliberately sabotaging the wedding.

The following day, however, Moira hands over the rings to a thrilled Charity and all is well.

Mack can’t believe his eyes when she reveals the gift Charity wanted to get him – a replica of the A-Team van.

Unfortunately, things come to another head later on a country road, where Mackenzie and Charity are in fancy dress, parked up in the van as things heat up.

They’re caught by PC Swirling and are shocked to learn the van has been involved in a robbery.

The copper has no other choice but to arrest them and they’re stuffed away in cells.

After spending a while locked up, Charity and Mackenzie learn they’ll have to get comfortable as they won’t be released any time soon.

Convinced Moira has set them up, Charity is fuming.

The following day, preparations for the wedding have begun but Charity and Mackenzie remain helpless in their cells, uncertain if their big day can really go ahead.

Charity is desperate and pleased with PC Swirling but her efforts are vain.

Thankfully, the couple are released but they’re heartbroken to realise it’s too late for them to get married.

Mack begs for Cain over the phone to stall vicar Charles Anderson but him and Charity are then thrown to see the A-team van roar into view with PC Swirling behind the wheel.

The vehicle reaches the church and Charles (Kevin Mathurin) agrees to marry Mack and Charity in their costumes.

Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) makes it to the ceremony in time to tell the bride and groom that Chloe Harris has gone into labour and is giving birth alone.

Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) later finds his friend Mackenzie with the weight of the world on his shoulders and encourages him to hurry up.

Mack receives and reads a message on his phone before a moment of consideration and he he exits on a mission.

Charity remains in the church and fears the worst but can she really expect what Mackenzie has been hiding from her?

Will Mackenzie keep hiding things from Charity?

Could Bernice get a nasty surprise?

2. Bernice goes viral

Bernice Blackstock (portrayed by Samantha Giles) was considerably thrown when Dr Liam Cavanagh let her know she was going through menopause.

In an attempt to accept her diagnosis and reach out to any other individual needing help through their own journey, she came up with the idea of forming a menopause support group.

But Bernice was shocked when nobody showed up at one of her meeting, prompting her sister Nicola King (played by Nicola Wheeler) to be completely upfront with her.

More than determined to turn things around, Bernice comes up with an idea she’s certain will help pique everybody’s interest.

She settles on an art class for the next menopause meeting but with Heath Hope (Sebastian Dowling) loitering outside, her plans don’t turn out as well as she anticipated.

The lad gets excited by the prospect of a young, naked model.

Little does he know the model calls in sick, encouraging Bernice to seize the opportunity once again and pose for the life-drawing class.

Outside the café, Elliot Windsor (Luca Hoyle) gently pushes the café door open and puts his phone through the gap to take a photo.

Could Bernice find out compromising photos of her are circulating online?

Paddy makes a decision

3. Paddy stays single

Months have passed since Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) found out his wife Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) had an affair with Al Chapman.

In the time that has gone by, Paddy has been struggling with his mental health and his former flame Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) admitted she was still harbouring feelings for him.

More recently, however, Chas made it clear she was also hoping for a reconciliation with him.

Viewers have been eager to see him make a choice between Chas and Mandy.

But what if Paddy chose himself and remained on his own for the benefit of his mental health?

A hug between the former spouses led to a kiss, prompting Chas to confess she’d been wanting to start afresh with Paddy and put the past behind them.

She’s taken aback when Paddy makes it clear he’s ready to turn a new leaf.

He announces he’s been in touch with a solicitor about their divorce and explains he doesn’t see the use in prolonging things.

Paddy takes things a step further and asks her if she’d like to make a joint divorce application.

How will Chas react?

Will Paddy really focus on himself?

Will Gabby figure out what Nicky is up to?

4. Gabby exposes Nicky

Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) embarked on a secret romance before coming clean to Kim Tate but the businesswoman wasn’t supportive of the new relationship.

The hunk then tried to prove he had the best intentions and asked Gabby to marry him while in the Hide Café.

This week, Nicky makes it clear to Gabby he’s eager to tie the knot as quickly as possible.

But he’s thrown when Gabby isn’t on the same wavelength and questions his reasoning – could she have figured out what he’s up to?

After months of speculation, viewers of the Yorkshire-based program were finally told that Nicky is Caleb’s son and Frank Tate’s grandson.

The pair are trying to get their hands on the Home Farm estate, which was taken over by Kim Tate following Frank’s death in 1997.

Will Gabby be the one to stop them both?

Could Chloe get support from Kerry?

5. Kerry comes back

Actress Laura Norton left the eponymous village to go on maternity leave while, on-screen, Kerry Wyatt left the Dales in the aftermath of Al Chapman’s death.

Kerry found out the businessman left her in a financial predicament which prompted her to take a job on a cruise ship.

But could she be back in time for the birth of her grandson?

As mentioned above, Chloe Harris will be giving birth to her baby this week.

In the hospital, Chloe demands her phone so she can send a message to a mystery person, while Mack vanishes from his own wedding ceremony.

Chloe is in the depths of labour when the door of her room is flung open and she is relieved to see a mystery visitor enter the room.

Could it be her mother?

Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
