However, another Hollyoaks youngster is left in a critical condition after a camping trip turns sour.

1. Mercedes struggles to cope
Recent scenes aired on Channel 4 have shown Bobby Costello ready to receive comeuppance for his crimes.
The young boy admitted to having killed Verity Hutchinson but she’s only one of his many victims.
His mother Mercedes McQueen (played by Jennifer Metcalfe) was left shocked beyond words as her son faced massive legal trouble.
Bobby could be thrown behind bars for several decades for his murderous actions.
Coming up this week, both Mercedes and Diane O’Connor (Alex Fletcher) find common ground in wanting to protect their children – but how will they go about it?
Later on, Mercedes is overwhelmed and resorts to falling back into old habits by drowning her sorrows.
But this will have an impact on her budding romance with Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood).
When she throws herself at him, Felix makes it clear to her he doesn’t want to take advantage of her intoxicated state.
Mercedes ends up insulting him, leaving Felix hurt.
Can he help her stay on the right path?

2. Maxine plans a march
Meanwhile, Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) is determined to get a message across after being the target of misogynistic attacks in recent months.
She teams up with Lizzie Chen-Williams (Lily Best) this week, as the latter was also spiked during a night out.
The pair are promoting their march for safety this week when Jack and Darren sign up to show their support.
Diane even decides to endorse their actions by offering Maxine The Dog as a venue for her rally meeting the following day.
However, Diane and her husband Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) later realise they’re double booked at The Dog after forgetting the local vicar’s reservation for a private religious party.
But Diane refuses to cancel on Maxine and is willing to bend over backwards to make it work.
Unfortunately, Tony grows increasingly annoyed with the women’s rally group for being too loud.
Maxine is thus determined to clear the air with Tony before the march takes place but he refuses to attend the event.
To top it off, he doesn’t even want a recovering Diane at the march either, although she’s fed up of being coddled and heads off on her own.
Luckily for Maxine, Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) throws her a lifeline and offers the Love Boat as a new venue.
The march is all set to start but nobody shows up on time.
Just when Maxine is ready to give up, a crowd of people carrying placards appears… but all are stopped in their tracks when PC Sam Chen-Williams tells them they’ve had a noise complaint.
Maxine is floored when it’s clear Tony made the complaint.
DeMarcus is scared for his relationship with Vicky Grant
3. DeMarcus is scared for the future
Elsewhere in Chester, DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) was ready for a new romantic relationship with Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence).
However, when she began to consider returning home to live with her mother, the pair began to think of the distance that will be separating them.
This week, both teens overhear Felix talking about how he doesn’t think their long-distance relationship is going to work.
Later on, in school, students begin to talk about what they have planned for their future and DeMarcus looks down, deflated.
He then opens up to Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) about his worries of Vicky moving on – and comes up with an idea.
The lad tells Vicky he’d be willing to move to Margate with her but she’s not sure.
Is it the end for the young couple?

4. Villagers go missing
Vicky and DeMarcus will have to wait before figuring everything out as Charlie decides to organise a camping trip in the woods.
The couple, Charlie head off alongside Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer), Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip) and Leah Barnes (Elá-May Melek Demircan) and start with getting alcohol.
They even lie to their parents about where they’re going.
Yet Darren sees right through Charlie when he pretends to be sick but the teen manages to convince his father to let him go camping.
Once they’re all set up, two older boys stumble upon the campsite, asking to join the party and offering weed in return for alcohol.
Leah convinces the group to let them stay – but is it wise?
Nancy later finds out the truth and wants to take Charlie home but Darren persuades her to let him have fun, distracting her with some alone time.
But Scott Drinkwell, Ste Hay and Felix all figure out something’s amiss, worried their children have all vanished.
What’s next for Vicky?
5. Vicky’s life is in danger
Matters go from bad to worse at the campsite when the party gets out of control and Vicky collapses.
The teens try to wake an unconscious Vicky up and Darren notices something is wrong when he glances at his missed calls.
Vicky is rushed to hospital in critical condition – with all hell breaking loose.
The parents try to figure out what happened and Ste is heartbroken at Leah when she admits to taking weed off strangers.
He screams at her in a fit of rage while emotions continue to run high around them.
Darren and Nancy are at a loss as to what they should do with their son and the former gets blamed for letting him go camping in the first place.
Elsewhere, Zara and Cindy interrogate Lin and Ella while both girls try to convince them they left when they realised the older boys had drugs.
But what really happened to Vicky?
