1. Kelly disappears

After months of turmoil, Kelly Neelan (portrayed by Millie Gibson) has managed to get her life back on track with some help from Gary Windass (Mikey North) and his wife Maria Connor.

And since losing both of her parents, the youngster has decided to give back to the people her loan shark father Rick wronged over the years on the cobbles.

Unfortunately, this may come at a greater cost than expected.

This week, Kelly sees Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) out of the barber’s when a wad of cash falls out of her bag, much to his shock.

Kelly has no choice and explains that the cash belonged to her father.

More importantly, she reveals she’s planning on distributing the money to the people the ruthless criminal ripped off.

Aadi isn’t convinced by her plan, worried she may be putting herself in danger, the perfect target for people who may seek bloody revenge.

He urges her to get Gary’s advice.

Later on at the bus stop, Kelly reveals she’s managed to track down another one of her father’s clients and she’s off to pay them back.

Adamant on helping her stay safe, Aadi says he’ll make the journey with her and a grateful Kelly agrees to go on a date later in Speed Daal.

Gary then finds out what Kelly is up to and, furious, scolds her for it.

But the teen responds by reminding him he’s not her father and storms out alone.

She calls at a house where she introduces herself as Rick Neelan’s daughter, before handing a man called Ross an envelope full of cash.

Kelly tells him she wants to make up for her father’s mistakes, prompting Ross to call a friend about the visit.

In later scenes, Aadi is waiting for Kelly at Speed Daal – only to realise he’s been stood up.

But when Jimmy approaches her and warns her to keep her nose out of matters she wouldn’t understand, Maria is shaken.

To make matters worse, a creepy guy tells Maria how much he enjoyed her online video.

Overwhelmed, Maria runs out… and gets a notification which alerts her about her phone being tracked.

She receives a call from her husband, who recently got into trouble for attacking Jimmy during a press conference, and Maria tells him she believes she’s being followed.
