From Soap Star to Law Student
Former child star Ben Beresford, known for his role as Joshua Peacock on Coronation Street, has left the glitz and glamour of fame behind to pursue a career in law.
A New Path
At the age of three, Ben joined the cast of the popular ITV soap opera and played the character of Joshua Peacock from 2003 to 2011. However, he has since left the acting world and embarked on a different journey.
Training Contract with CMS UK
Ben is now working as a trainee solicitor at Nexus Legal Recruitment, a London-based company. He is set to begin his training contract with law practice CMS UK in September 2025.
Academic Achievements
In addition to his acting career, Ben studied Bachelor of Laws with American Law at the University of Nottingham and The University of Texas School of Law. His dedication to his studies led to an internship offer at Hill Dickinson LLP and he served as the president of The 93% Club Nottingham.
