FAYE Brookes celebrated her first Valentine’s Day apart from ex-fiance Gareth Gates on a romantic holiday in New York with boyfriend Joe Davies.
The 32-year-old ex-Coronation Street star returned to the city where her former flame proposed last January for the romantic break.
Faye has shared a string of enviable snaps from their whirlwind trip, which kicked off in Bermuda.
Just one day after enjoying the sunshine on the stunning island, the actress shared clips from her and Joe’s romantic dinner in the US city.
Wishing fans a “happy love day”, the brunette beauty also posted a pic of herself clutching onto a bunch of balloons with the caption: “Floating on a cloud”.
She also showed off her beautiful Valentine’s outfit, looking the part in an off-the-shoulder, red, silk dress.
Both Faye and Joe shared several more posts as they took in the sights of Brooklyn, with Faye previously posting a snap of herself holding her beau’s hand on an isolated beach.
Quoting self-help writer Dacha Avelin, Faye captioned the post: “Magic happens when you step into who you truly are and embrace that which fulfils your soul”.
Joe shared the same image, gushing: “My favourite kind of view”.
The loved-up pair appeared to have met up with friends on the getaway, with one even giving them a sweet Valentine’s Day card that read: “To Faye and Joe, Happy Valentine’s Day!
“Enjoy your first day of many!!!”
Faye confirmed her romance with the personal trainer in December, when they were spotted walking around Manchester hand-in-hand.
She had previously denied that they were an item after splitting from singer Gareth – who she’d been with for seven years – in August.
It was revealed in August that Faye and Gareth had a blazing row after she began having late-night gym sessions, and he confronted her about her relationship with Joe.
Gareth and Faye – who played Kate Connor in Corrie – met when they starred in Legally Blonde in 2012, and they went public with their relationship in August 2013.
He popped the question in New York last January, but they went their separate ways after he found out about Fayes secret fling with her Cobbles co-star, Sam Robertson.
Faye and Sam became close when Gareth and the actress were on a brief break last year, but the singer and panto star was said to be “unable to get over” the romance.
