HAPPY news shook up Home Farm as Dawn Taylor revealed she was pregnant with Billy Fletcher’s child.

But is Emmerdale star Olivia Bromley expecting her own child off-screen? Get the lowdown.

Dawn Fletcher announced she was pregnant in recent Emmerdale scenes

Is Emmerdale actress Olivia Bromley pregnant?

Dawn tied the knot with Billy in early 2022, just as the couple faced jealous serial killer Meena Jutla.

However, when she revealed she was expecting her first child with her new husband, ITV viewers wondered if the show was taking inspiration from Olivia Bromley’s life.

While the fan favourite already has a boy named Lucas, resulting from her previous relationship with Alex Moore, she is also a mother figure to Clemmie, her son’s half-sister.

The 27-year-old star, however, is not known to have any children and she’s unlikely to be pregnant off-screen.

Olivia keeps her private life out of the spotlight, posting snaps of her work on her Instagram account, as well as shots of her pet labrador.

This means Olivia’s relationship status remains unclear.

Yet when her on-screen alter ego was getting ready to walk down the aisle with Billy, Olivia spoke to the Mirror and revealed she hadn’t grown up with the idea of a dream wedding.

“I’ve never made that fairy-tale plan. It’s more like, ‘Oh, it’ll be nice to be together and have a party'”, she explained.

“However, I’m a bridesmaid for quite a few weddings this year, which I’m really excited about.”

“One is in Ibiza and another is in France. If they go ahead I’ll have some really hot, fun-abroad weddings to look forward to!”

Is Billy Fletcher really the father of Dawn’s baby in Emmerdale?

As mentioned above, Dawn revealed she was expecting a child with Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and she was over the moon when she later found out she was 16 weeks pregnant.

However, fans rushed to social media sharing their theories and expecting a huge paternity twist.

“What’s the odds Billy, is not the dad, probably had a one-night stand with Caleb, Son Nikki it’s not gonna be that simple, just Billy’s baby”, one of them penned.

Others have speculated that Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) could also be pregnant at the same time as Dawn, weeks after her disastrous wedding with Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope).

Dawn’s baby is reportedly due on Christmas Day, 2023, setting the scene for the festive season in the Dales.

But spoilers confirmed Dawn and Billy may be in for a huge shock after she is rushed to hospital.

Speaking about the storyline to HOAR and other press, Olivia said: “It is a worrying time for them because it’s all just gone quickly very wrong.”

“What always happens with Billy and Dawn is they have a glimmer of happiness and a celebratory moment that’s smashed away, always.”

She added: “I think it will be a meaty storyline with lots of twists and turns and it will be good for us as actors to play that dynamic.”

Could there be more to Dawn’s pregnancy than meets the eye?

Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
