Karen Taylor Returns to Walford with a Vengeance

After being thrown out of Albert Square, Karen Taylor took the blame for Albie Watts' fake kidnapping ordeal. But now, actress Lorraine Stanley is reprising her role as Karen in EastEnders and she's coming back with a vengeance.

Karen's Mysterious Disappearance

Viewers will remember that Karen fled Albert Square in late 2023 after being exposed for her involvement in Albie Watts' kidnapping. While her son Keanu was also involved, Karen took the fall to protect him. Phil Mitchell made sure she would never return to Walford.

Karen's Impetuous Return

Despite the consequences, Karen is back in town and has many questions about her missing son Keanu. She returns to Walford as Nish Panesar berates her daughter Bernie for accidentally playing an old voice note from Keanu.

Karen Causes a Stir

Upon her return, Karen causes an immediate stir, especially when she clashes with Nish at the café. But things escalate when Phil Mitchell arrives and demands his money back. Karen is determined to get answers about Christmas and challenges Phil about Nish and Kat Slater's relationship.

Karen's Return Raises Concerns

Worried that Karen is a threat to their freedom, Kathy Beale decides to report her to the police for Albie's kidnapping. Meanwhile, Linda Carter plans to leave town after seeing Karen, but her secret drinking habits may be exposed.

Karen's Audience with Linda

In a shocking turn of events, Karen demands to speak with Linda about the events of Christmas. Will Linda confess everything?

The Mystery of Keanu's Whereabouts

While it remains to be seen what Karen knows, viewers will remember that Keanu is not far away from his loved ones in the Square. He is buried underneath Kathy Beale's café. Kathy, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar, Sharon Watts, and Denise Fox all contributed to disposing of Keanu's body after Linda Carter stabbed him to death in the Queen Vic.

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
