MOIRA Barton is betrayed by her new business partner Rhona Goskirk next week in Emmerdale when she shakes hands on a restaurant deal involving Nate Robinson.
The farmer – who is played by Natalie J Robb on the ITV soap – went into business with Rhona to save her farm after Cain dumped her for sleeping with his son Nate. So why would Rhona put Moira through more hell? Here’s everything you need to know…

Why does Rhona bring Nate into the farm in Emmerdale?
Official spoilers have revealed that Rhona and Moira clash next week during a client meeting with the restaurant boss, Ricky Travers.
When Moira tells Ricky his meat order is impossible to fulfil, Rhona is irritated and feels like her voice has been ignored.
Later, Kim tells Nate she has secured the restaurant deal for Wylie’s farm.
Nate calls Rhona over to the farm under false pretences and then suggests they split the restaurant deal with Butlers.
Rhona is keen but knows Moira will be furious with her for partnering with Nate.
The vet shakes hands on the deal anyway and frets about telling Moira the news.
Later, Rhona tries to discuss what she’s done with Moira and says she’s managed to reach an agreement with Ricky – but can’t bring herself to tell her that Nate is involved in the deal.
How will Moira react to Rhona bringing Nate into the farm?
Emmerdale fans are convinced that all hell will break loose when Moira discovers the truth about the new deal.
One fan tweeted: “Why can’t they let Moira be happy fed up of @emmerdale using my fave as a punchbag?”
Another added: “They said that when Moira came back she would be stronger and happier I don’t think that’s going to happen now.”
Might Moira quit the farm and leave it in Rhona’s hands when she discovers the truth.
There’s also the possibility that Moira will feel old desires for Nate if she’s forced to work side by side with him.
But with Emmerdale yet to confirm how Moira reacts to the Nate bombshell, fans will have to tune in to find out.
Is Nate leaving Emmerdale?
Emmerdale fans are convinced Nate has outstayed his welcome in the village and are desperate to see the back of him.
One fan tweeted: “Can’t Nate just leave Emmerdale? Who needs him anyway?”
But given that Nate couldn’t bring himself to depart from the village and leave his whole family behind in the wake of his affair with Moira, it’s not likely that he’ll leave now.
And with Nate having gone into business with Kim Tate and taken over Wylie’s farm, it’s looking like he’ll be sticking around for good.
Are Moira and Cain going to get back together in Emmerdale?
Fans haven’t yet given up on the possibility of Cain and Moira getting back together.
One fan said: “I’m willing to forgive #Emmerdale all the shit they pulled with Moira and Nate if they reunite Moira and Cain.”
Aother added: “I will forever be hacked off that they did the Nate thing with Cain and Moira because they (and Jeff & Natalie) are just SO good together!”
Viewers know that Moira has attempted to prove just how sorry she is for having the affair behind Cain’s back.
But Moira’s apologies haven’t stopped hardman Cain insisting on a divorce.
It became clear that Cain still had feelings for Moira when he stayed up to protect her from livestock thieves in February and even ended up shooting a mysterious figure – who ended up being Nate – to keep her safe.
But so far Cain has remained too proud and stubborn to admit that he wants Moira back, and fans will have to tune in to find out if he relents in upcoming scenes.
