Another member of Charles’ family came out of the woodwork when Claudette Anderson (played by Flo Wilson) decided to pay her son a visit in the ITV village.
And after faking a back injury, she revealed that she’d been kicked out of house and home with nowhere else to stay.
Despite the growing tension between her and his partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), Charles agrees to let Claudette stay.
In recent scenes, however, another forgotten family member was finally introduced when Charles (Kevin Mathurin) visited his father, Victor, in prison.
But this was no happy reunion – Charles warned Victor to stay away from him and his family.
Coming up next week, Victor refuses to go along with Charles’ words and sets out to win his family over.
Claudette and Charles are upset Victor is still in the village and in order to protect his mother, Charles vows to ensure his father leaves immediately.
Meanwhile, Naomi Walters (Karene Peter) is charmed by her grandfather Victor which infuriates Charles who gives him both barrels, telling him to go.
Naomi demands an explanation for his hatred of Victor and before long, Charles reveals the truth about his and Claudette’s traumatic life with Victor.
Naomi promises to stay away from Victor but could she go against her own word?
The following day, Manpreet decides to smooth things over between father and son and suggests Charles should hear Victor out.
