DESPERATE for cash, Paul Foreman has put himself on the line by accepting dodgy jobs and he eventually got caught.

Next week in Coronation Street, the builder runs the risk of ruining his sister Gemma Winter’s wedding as he faces justice.

Paul Foreman has spiralled out of control in recent scenes

He was desperate to treat his twin Gemma Winter to her dream wedding

But he has to face justice after getting caught in a stolen car

Times are hard for Paul Foreman and his only option is to face the music.

After learning he could be suffering from motor neurone disease, the builder portrayed by Peter Ash went off the deep end in an attempt to provide for his family as much as he could.

This threw him into a life of crime as he accepted a dodgy job from Weatherfield criminal Damon Hay and he was eventually caught in murder victim Rufus Donahue‘s car.

To make matters worse, his MND diagnosis was confirmed by a specialist, meaning Paul has to make peace with the life-shortening condition.

Paul has also been keen on treating his twin sister Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) to her dream wedding… and decided against telling her about any of his troubles.

However, in scenes airing next week on ITV, Paul may have no other choice but to be upfront.

As Gemma gets ready to finally tie the knot with Chester Brown, Paul has his day in court and pleads guilty.

But in later scenes, Paul is gutted to realise he’s due in court for sentencing the day before Gemma’s wedding.

This means Paul could miss his sister’s big day and unintentionally ruin Gemma and Chester’s wedding.

Paul has received no help from his nearest and dearest throughout his ordeals as he’s made it clear he wants none of his loved ones to know what he’s going through.

One Weatherfield resident has been updated, however, and it’s none other than his friend and former flatmate Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown).

Will Paul finally open up to his family about his condition and legal troubles?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.

Paul has kept his family and loved ones sheltered from his problems

Could this lead to him not attending his sister Gemma’s wedding?
