But next week, one married man in Coronation Street catches her eye. Could she act on it?
Cassandra Plummer (portrayed by Claire Sweeney) shocked her son Tyrone (Alan Halsall) by resurfacing after she was claimed to have died. Since then, the mechanic has tried to bond with his mother but she is still clearly struggling with her drug addiction.
In an attempt to get back on the straight and narrow after a recent overdose, Cassie becomes more involved with the taxi firm next week. But after getting angry, she storms off during a meeting.
Trouble with the police
However, they are distracted when a police officer arrives and tells Tyrone they have reason to believe his car was involved in a hit and run and they want to examine the car. Tyrone later finds Cassie in the café with his grandmother Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) and asks her about her whereabouts on September 11th.
Later on, Kevin finds Cassie drunk in Victoria Garden and offers her a place to stay. Cassie then plays it off as if she spent the night at a friend's place, keeping it a secret from Tyrone.
Tensions rise with Abi
As Kevin goes to make a cup of tea, Cassie watches him fondly, leading to potential tensions with Abi. Kevin is no stranger to infidelity and was betrayed by his wife Abi before. Could he be seeking revenge?
