EVE Unwin and Suki Panesar are finally making their relationship work, but trouble may be brewing.

Next week, EastEnders villain Nish Panesar pressures Suki into accepting his terms for the end of their marriage.

After months of uncertainty and shame, Suki Panesar (played by Balvinder Sopal) is finally out and proud, in love with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).

However, ending their long union has been a challenge for Suki and Nish (Navin Chowdhry). Nish, a controlling and abusive character, has refused to let Suki go without a fight. He even resorted to violence on one occasion.

In recent scenes of the BBC One soap, Nish began to have doubts about a recent attack that took place on Christmas Day, resulting in his death and subsequent revival in the hospital.

Keanu Taylor was blamed for the attack, but the truth is that he is actually dead and buried under Kathy Beale's café, which Nish agreed to give to Suki in their divorce proceedings.

Coming up next week, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) urges Suki to finalize the divorce deal with Nish to protect the café from him.

When Suki confronts Nish, he presses her for answers about the Christmas incident. Suki tries to deflect his questions, but Nish is relentless.

Later, after an intriguing comment from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) about Stacey's past, Nish breaks into the Slater house to confront her and uncover the truth.

Stacey is terrified when she comes face-to-face with Nish, but Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) intervenes and sends him away.

In later scenes, Suki meets with Nish, who reneges on their deal and threatens to keep all the businesses if she doesn't agree. Suki must decide whether to take him to court or accept his terms to be free of him.

What will Suki decide? Will the Six step in, as they did with Rocky Cotton, to get rid of Nish?

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
